Joint kudos for Huntly Allison and the College for producing a marvelous 65 th reunion at the end of September. Some 100 classmates/spouses joined in the celebration.

Joanna and Leo Caproni spent some time in early summer at their house on Cape Cod and had dinner with Barbara and Ted Arico while there. They also broke bread with Trish and Gardie Bridge.

Received a note from Gary Beauchamp, a nephew of Frank Cushman, reporting that Frank was hit by a car while crossing the street and is now in his third hospital but should be home by Labor Day. Gary adds that the most upsetting news was the Worcester Telegram & Gazette calling Frank "elderly." Cards and notes should be sent to his Grafton, Massachusetts, home.

Joe McCormick sends "a brief summary of my activities (while working on retirement)." Enclosed was a newsletter from Liberty Estates of Danville, Illinois, which has an item titled 'A Voluntter Among Us." Joe continues to give back, it says, citing his work with the DACC Literacy Program, his service as a mentor for collegebound students, as well as offering advice for parents and students on everything from the admissions process to filling out financial forms.

A note from Jane and Bill Parmer sent their regrets for missingthe party and a wish for good weather in Hanover in late September. And as a former class secretary himself he wanted to say thanks to me for "doing a fine job of keeping us well-informed over an extended period of time" (10 years).
