Greetings '76!
Being in North Carolina makes us appreciate New England summers all the more. Fortunately my wife and I were able to enjoy the better part of a week in Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire in june. We started with the wedding of Wendy Simila Snickenberger's nephew in Westminster, Massachusetts, and then headed to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont to visit family with a side trip to Hanover.
News of classmates comes via Andy Gettinger. Andy reports of a Cinco de Mayo party hosted by Carey Heckman, organized by Jenny Kemeny, Sandy Fitchet and spouses. Attending were Judy and Tom Csatari, Gregg and Kathy Fairbrothers, M.K. Beach, Marty and Kathleen Doyle and Andy.
Steve Melikian is planning an October minireunion in the Bay Area. Steve was in Hanovervisiting the College with his high school-age son. Jody Karp and Dave Magnus made individual trips east this summer supporting each of their kids' activities. Dave brought their son east to both visit colleges and attend football camp in Massachusetts. He visited Hanover with Wayne McDonald on a whirlwind trip. Jody brought their daughter, a nationally ranked race walker, to an East Coast meet and got as close to Hanover as the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
On the national media scene, it's rumored that Martha Hennessey may have stumped the band on a recent Letterman episode. Keep your eyes peeled as it may show up on You Tube.
Please send info of yourself or classmates to either me or Sean Gorman.
