Greetings! News is thin, so help me out. Thanks to John Weeks 44, we've learned that (Catherine Weeks has added a P.E. license in environmental engineering to her credits. This is added to an M.B.A. from Boston University and an M.C.E. from UMass Lowell. Congratulations and thanks, Mr. Weeks.

The College has passed along that Ron Vargo has been named vice president and treasurer of EDS. Ron was previously with TRWInc.Also from the College comes a clipping from the Scarsdale Inquirer noting that Noreen Quinn Fisher has been named as a candidate for the Scarsdale (New York) village board. The clipping describes Noreen as a full-time community volunteer and goes on to note the multitude of organizations she has worked for as well as mentioning the fact that she and Rip Fisher have three daughters (18, 17 and 15).

Also from the College, Bruce Kelley has been named president and CEO of EMC Insurance Cos. in Des Moines, lowa. In addition, Bruce is the past president of the lowa Insurance Institute and serves on the board of directors of the Alliance of American Insurers. He is also chairman of the lowa Public Employees Retirement System's investment advisory board.

From the College again (spot a trend here help me out) comes a clipping from the Burlington (Massachusetts) Union noting that Mary Anna Sullivan, M.D., has been named to chair the division of medical specialties at the Lahey Clinic. She has been with the Lahey Clinic for the past 18 years and is married to Dr. Joel Epstein, a rheumatologist in Lowell.

The College also notes that D-GAlA will be sponsoring its next all-class reunion the weekend of October 1-3. All lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans gender Dartmouth College alumni and their families, including those from all the graduate schools and programs, are welcome to attend. Those planning on attending are urged to book accommodations early as foliage will likely be at its peak and rooms should be in short supply.
