Happy Birthday! Fifty-fours will be gathering in New Orleans from April 12 to 16 to celebrate their collective 75 th birthday. The celebration will be in conjunction with the French Quarter Festival, a wonderful fiesta of music, food and drink. Steve Mullins has put together a great itinerary and a large attendance is expected.

First it was the Greek Isles (2002), then the Dalmatian coast (2004), then France (2006) and now the '54 world travelers are heading to Spain and Morocco in March of 2008. Once again John Fenn and Don Berlin, this time aided by Dick Page, have planned a sensational trip, highlighted by a week's cruise to interesting ports of call. At last report the trip was oversubscribed.

John Paul Dabney reports a constant struggle with back pain—welcome to the club! Dabos wife is recovering from a serious stroke, still unable to walk but otherwise functioning well.

Fleur and Jay Chandler hosted a post-Princeton game cocktail party and welcomed Sally and John Heyn, Jean and Bob Adnopoz and Genevieve and Perry Davis along with classmates of Sally Adnopoz Gendler '82 and Jennifer Chandler Hauge '82, who cooked up the concept for the event and similar future gatherings on the occasion of Dartmouth in town for the Princeton football game. According to Jay, "...some good times exchanged, catching up time with drinks in hand and some repast for the inner woman/man."

The December Boston holiday luncheon was attended by 15 classmates, including Dick Barker, Dick Brace, Bob Buchanan, Pete Builis, Jim Clark, Phil Cooke, Jay Davis, Peter Dwight, Bill Grover, Bob Os- mond, John Pope, Harry Robinson, Dave Thielscher, Jim Tofias and Shelly Woolf.

The New York luncheon attracted many of the usual suspects, joined this year by some not frequently seen at this event, including Bob Berry, Perry Davis and George Shaw. Others attending: Bob Adnopoz, Howie Aronson, Pete Barker, Jerry Barton, Don Berlin, Lo-Yi Chan, John Cunningham, Dick Davidoff, Jay Davis, John Fenn, Dick Franklin, Jerry Goldstein, Rick Hartman, Tony Kane, Tom Kelsey, Ron Lehrman, Dave Levine, Dick Lewis, Dana Low, Mimi and Vic Mahler, Dave Mandelbaum, Steve Mullins, Dick Page, Dick Pearl, Art Rauch, Harry Robinson, Dick Steinberg, Norm Veasey, Bob Vor- sanger and Ed Winnick. All told, 48 classmates en- joyed the two annual holiday celebrations.

In an effort to update our '54 e-mail list, we're asking anyone who hasn't received an e-mail message from me within the past three months to send his current e-mail address to akane32@nyc.rr.com, with copies to newsletter editor Pete Barker at pgbarker@aol.com and Webmaster Perry Davis at perrydavis@perrydavis.net. Having everyone's current address will allow information to be shared in a timely manner by all classmates.

Responding to many requests, we are now posting this column to the 54 Web site at the same time as it is submitted to the DAM, thereby shaving off more than two months between submission and publication dates. E-mail notices will contain the link to the Web site, another reason to make sure we have your current e-mail address.
