Freshmen from the class of 1929 dress in jailbird outfits to represent Fayerweather Hall daring Delta Alpha Week of 1926. According to The Dartmouth, Delta Alpha was a "mystic organization" made up of upperclassmen in each College dormitory, ded scared to the proposition that "all men are created equal, except freshmen." Each dormitory represented a different chapter of Delta Alpha, and during Delta Alpha Week upperclassmen competed to see who could haze their freshmen dorm-mates most effectively.
