Studio art majors Jose Ojeda '07 and Thuy-Tien Hoang '07 worked together to create Progression, a multimedia sculpture j on display in the Hopkinsj Center Barrows Rotunda for two and a half weeks- last fall. The initial concept was to depict a struggle betvyeen rural and urban Worlds, but the work transformed to representa struggle within one person the clay man, an "everyman" figure, according to Hoang. While the pair admitted to conflict during the creation period, they consider their collaboration a positive experience. "We brought out the best of each other," says Ojeda. "Neither of us could have created a piece like this alone."
