Big Picture: On the Rocks

Over spring break the Dartmouth Dance Ensemble visited New Zealand, where they performed five times in nine days in venues ranging from outside a town hall to a Maori temple/Pictured here is a staged pose from an original work the ensemble performs, Wonderland, photo- graphed in Kaikoura. "It was one of those moments," ensemble director Ford Evans says. "Taking the dancers out on the rocks, with the tide out, set up some beautiful conditions."
