It’s easy to walk by Russell Sage dormitory without taking even a cursory glance at the blooming red and gold oaks standing outside or to ignore the rows of elms that frame Baker lawn. But our trees are precious: The College spends more than $130,000 annually to maintain and preserve approximately 1,200 trees.
