Charlie and Lisa Kircher moved more into the suburbs of Cincinnati and Charlie is now an attending physician at University of Cincinnati in emergency medicine and neurocritical care!

Dave Faherty is happy to share that he and his wife moved back to Chicago in September. He is working at the National Immigrant Justice Center as a staff attorney on the Detention Project, representing immigrants in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention.

Eric Ma started a new job as a proposal manager at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Co., back in his home state of Connecticut! He says, “My job primarily consists of writing sales proposals for the Black Hawk helicopter, so I spend most of my days looking at pictures of helicopters, talking about helicopters, and writing about helicopters. My life has not changed much from when I was 5, except now I get paid to do that stuff.” They do say growing up is a trap.

Sarah (Uhl) Smith and her husband welcomed their second son, Tuckerman, in February! An early celebration brought together Caitlin Potratz, Laura Glickman, and Kate Schuerman ’06. Sarah says, “We hope Tuckerman will become a skier! And, as always, those passing through Portsmouth, New Hampshire, are encouraged to visit!” A baby on skis? Ya, I think you’ll get a few visitors to see that adorable sight!

Sara Studebaker-Hall started a new job in February. She left the coaching and program management role at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, Utah, to become the new director of operations for the U.S. Biathlon Association! She’ll be staying in Utah, working remotely. She says, “I’m really looking forward to my new role and working alongside some other Dartmouth alums already in the organization!”

Sam Routhier and his wife, Katy, welcomed their daughter, Kirin, on November 18! How adorable is this? Her first ’07 meet-up came when Nate Raines visited on February 17, although she loves facetiming with Charlie Guthrie and his new baby girl, Rae, born in August.

Yuki Kondo-Shah is still a public affairs officer at the U.S. consulate in Fukuoka, Japan! She shares, “We’re gearing up for the summer Olympics! My husband, Philip, will serve in the U.S. embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, for a year starting this summer, so we’re hanging in there as a geographically separated family. My daughters, Sayuri (3.5) and Aya (1.5), are having a blast at the Japanese daycare they attend! Let me know if you want to visit Kyushu, Japan (where Fukuoka is located), which was in CNN’s 2020 Top 20 destinations!”

Sahiba (Sarna) Krieger and her husband, Keith (Duke ’07), welcomed their second son, Connor, on December 7! He joins his 3-year-old brother, Thomas. Congrats!

AM Husain wed Lauren Gambier at the Bronx Zoo in August. Dartmouth alumni attending the wedding included Will Bashelor, Connie Rankins, Courtland Smith, Chris Wilt, Allison Wilson, Gabe Holiway, Meaghan Ferrick, Jessica Rawlins, Davida Kornreich, and Angela Libby ’08. What a crowd!

Frances Cha’s first novel, If I Had Your Face, will be published on April 21 by Random House, and follows the lives of four young women in modern Korea! She shares, “It was inspired by topics I covered for CNN as an editor in Seoul.” —Jaime Padgett, 1837 W. Patterson Ave, #109, Chicago, IL 60613; (574) 303-6944; dartmouth2007s@ gmail.com
