REUNION

JULY 25-27

From Katie Paxton: “This October I had the honor of receiving the Dartmouth Young Alumni Distinguished Service Award. Alumni Council presents this award annually to alumni in classes from the past 15 years who have demonstrated extraordinary service to Dartmouth. It wouldn’t have been possible without the great class of 2011, the Dartmouth Club of New York, Dartmouth College Fund, and everyone at the College!”

In November Harry Enten, host of CNN’s “Margins of Error,” covered election polling data as usual, and he spoke on November 14, 2024, in Loew Auditorium of the Black Family Visual Arts Center as part of the 2024 Election Speaker Series sponsored by the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences. Harry’s talk was titled, “Understanding the 2024 Election Data and Polling,” and it was also streamed on Dartmouth’s YouTube channel. The conversation was moderated by government professors Jason Barabas ’93 (and director of the Rockefeller Center) and Mia Costa.

Additionally, earlier that month, we were saddened to learn of the death of Liz Agosto ’01 on October 31. During our years on campus, Liz served as the program coordinator of student involvement and associate director of the Center for Student Involvement. Liz also created the First-Year Student Enrichment Program (FYSEP). Liz helped manyfind afeeling of belonging in college; in the words of one classmate, Liz was “a home away from home.” We are grateful for Liz and all that she did.
