Henry N. Hurd has removed from Manchester to Claremont, N. H., where he will continue the practice of law. As a representative in the last legislature, he" was the leader in the unsuccessful attempt to remove the state capital from Concord to Manchester.
Dr. John P. Gifford was married in Randolph, Vt. August 2, to Miss Eliza Eva Folsom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo D. Folsom of Barton, Vt.
