Mrs. Gertrude McCurdy Hubbard, widow of Gardiner Greene Hubbard, inventor, scientist, and philanthropist, died October 20 at the Garfield Hospital, Washington, D. C., from a fracture of the skull received in an automobile accident. She was eighty-four years old.
