CLASS OF 1899

The Public Health Service has undertaken an investigation of health conditions among the Indians, and among those detailed to conduct the inquiry is Past Assistant Surgeon Joseph W. Schereschewsky, who has North and South Dakota for his field. Dr. Schereschewsky was director of the exhibit on hygiene and demography at the Fifteenth International Congress of Hygiene and Demography held in Washington in September.
