The Department of Fine Arts held an exhibition of paintings by old masters of European Schools in the Little Theatre of Robinson Hall on the afternoons and evenings of January 11 to 17 inclusive. Although this was the smallest exhibition yet held by the department, it was one of the finest in character and one of the most valuable. Explanatory talks were delivered by Professor Zug every afternoon, and attracted a large attendance from students, faculty, and townspeople.

The pictures, all of which were lent by New York art dealers, were as follows:
