To the regular meeting for December, held at the University Club on the night of December 30, the undergraduates home for the holidays were specially invited, to aid in the mutual acquaintance of the older men and those now in college. The principal feature of the evening was a description of his experiences with the American naval . forces in the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmora of Lieutenant (Junior Grade) M. W. Hodgdon, U. S. N., who left the class of 1919 to enter the naval service of his country. Eleven undergraduates were present.
At the monthly meeting and dinner on January 21, President Hopkins was the guest of honor, and made a stirring address, in which he outlined the policies and hopes of the College, and gave figures showing the remarkable growth experienced since the recovery from war-time conditions.
