One month to our first Dartmouth Reunion. I always wondered what those folks did the week after I left school every June. Now I'll find out. Hope you're there to sample Hanover hospitality with me.

There will be plenty of time for face-toface exchanges in June, but here's a selection of the latest news to whet your information appetite.

Hamilton Krans and Pamela Lilly were married on February 5 in Miami the same day as John Young and Jeanne Brown.... Peter Neill and Eileen Slattery are planning a June wedding. Coincidentally, both are with the personal trust department of Bankers Trust Company in New York.

Doug Bailey married Selma Mulvey on January 14 and, starting in July, will live full-time on their houseboat, travelling between Toronto and Washington, D.C. ... John Rollins president of the AZTECH Corporation in the Nation's Capital, plans to incorporate Anne Whiting (Wheaton '69) into the fold on June 24 ... PeterBroad reports from the University of Kentucky at Lexington that he "Got married. Got fired" but seems content with the situation, Yolanda, and step-boys Mark, 10, and Erik, 6.

John Keane has been on the move. He spent 18 months as a Foreign Service Officer working on a pacification program in Vietnam, five months traveling in Asia, and is now heading for a U. S. Embassy job in Lima, Peru with his Colombian-born wife, Graciela.

Bill and Jeanie Wegener celebrated his Navy discharge after three years of teaching financial management courses at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif., with a two-month trip to Europe. Bill will return as treasurer of Fey Manufacturing Co. in Los Angeles.

Scott Wright is still in the Navy and making the most of it. Scott manages a small private practice in addition to his Naval doctor chores near Kansas City. On Christmas Day he and Mary added Katherine Noel to the Wright clan.

Captain Joe Barker is nearing the end of his three year Marine Corps tour, which for the last year has kept him busy as a Military Judge for Court Martials at Camp Lejeune, N. C. It's good training for Joe's next tour with the Nashville law firm of Dearborn & Ewing. One more benefit. Joe and Sherry spent April in Japan, courtesy of the Uncle ... Lt. Alan Bell has had some government paid travel too. He's on the staff of the Anti-Submarine Warfare Force, Sixth Fleet, Naples.

Dr. Ken Blunt is completing the first year of his general surgery residency in San Diego, where he lives with Betty, Ken (22 months) and Christine (5 months). Two years of Navy duty at nearby Camp Pendleton start in July ... Dr. RickWorland has moved Sue and the two boys, David and Scott, to New Jersey as he begins his orthopedic surgery residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York ... Dr. Bill Viar is doing his surgical residency at University Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.

Dan and Cindy Barnard are expecting a junior partner for three-year-old Matthew, to arrive this spring, hopefully between Dan's sales swings through New England selling electrical products for General Methods Associates ... GaryBryson is now an Evanston, Ill., home owner (with Suzanne) and a Bell & Howell exec (direct mail marketing division).

"Life is still a challenge" for TimUrban, who is planning director of West Des Moines, lowa (16,000), manager of a local rugby club, husband of Toni, and Pop to two-year-old Heather and six-months Andrew. Hardly any of us have got it down pat, Tim.

Jim Sutherland is on the Legislative and Public Relations Staff of New Hampshire Congressman James Cleveland ...

Bob Zartler, an assistant professor of Management Science at the U. of Rhode Island, is completing his D.B.A. thesis at Harvard Business School. Wife Ann is hoping to start a Ph.D. program in Psychology, Jamie is in kindergarten, and Teddy (1½) watches Sesame Street. ... Jack Bailey, I'm told, traveled across the Pacific with nine young men in a sailboat, spent two years circling the globe, and has settled with the Associated Press in Portland, Me. Sounds like a page one banner story.

Alex Arnold reports that John Q. is assistant vice president in commercial lending at Chicago's Harris Trust. ... Stephen Zeller, armed with a Boston College Ph.D. in economics and wife Florence, is an economist with the Federal Reserve Board in Washington. Maybe Steve can explain Phase II?

Success at opposite ends of the nation. Bob Page, who had logged three years as a program analyst for United States Foreign Aid programs in Latin America, has been named to a California study group investigating the role of arbitration in the state's overburdened judical system. And in Concord, N. H., Paul Semple has become the Granite State's first public defender, responsible for all felony cases in Merrimack County involving the indigent.
