The first event of the club year was the customary Dartmouth Night celebration, held Friday evening, October 7, at the Boston City Club. Four hundred Dartmouth alumni of Boston and vicinity gathered at the meeting, over which "Jim" Kimball '01 presided.

A telegram from President Hopkins was read by Richard F. Paul '11, while the direct Hanover message was brought to the meeting by Professor Charles E. Bolser, who gave an exceedingly interesting account of various chases of the enlarged college of today.
