Two reports including questions by your scribe and answers received on the college/university issue, on Class Officers Weekend, were sent to Bill Wendell for possible inclusion in his newsletter. Betty and Ralph Hunter, Lucy Cogswell, Rose and Hank McCarthy, Eleanor and Bunce Clarkson, John Benson, Harriet Wolff, and Gertrude and Irv Bettman, all in good shape, reminded me of the Yale game minireunion.

An apology to Marv Chandler '32 for calling him "Norm" instead of "Marv" in my April class notes carrying his report on Rod Dodge's widow and daughter.

The March issue challenge of Roger Williams's two great-grandchildren being a class record produced the Class of 1931 Great Grandchildren Sweepstakes I. Dave Borkiim and George Nickum have dethroned King Roger with four each George also reporting one on the way. Sweepstakes II same time next year. Challengers? George wrote that he's reduced the number of his vices by two; Dave wrote that Anne and he are frequent flyers with family being scattered all over, and they hope to attend the Yale game.

A picture of the magnificent Royal Viking Star cruise ship was on the card from Bermuda sent by Edna and Bill Wilson, who were enjoying themselves.

Mighty nice note from Betty Magee in reply to one I had sent her after learning of Gray's death.

Bob Biesel, a widower for some two years, wrote that he has one daughter and a granddaughter in Florida, and one daughter and two grandsons (Dartmouth admission application age, Bob?) in California. He keeps busy on a number of charitable boards including two social agencies, two crime prevention, one tuition-free blind correspondence, and two planning agencies of which one is a ten-year appointment by the governor of Illinois, and for 18 years as director f the Chicago-Tokyo Bank, his remaining business affiliation. Doubles tennis in the summer is still pleasurable even though he had one eye put out five years ago by an overhead from five feet away!

Returns from Bill White, Dick Knight, Hart Gilchrist, and Ben Hardman next issue.
