An interesting series of readings, with comments, from Greek Literature in Translation, is being given by The Arts under the direction of Professor R. C. Nemiah of the Department of Greek. The series was opened Jan. 16, by Professor Nemiah with readings from the Iliad and Odyssey. Further numbers in the course are :

Aeschylus, Agamemnon, by Professor G. D. Lord; Sophocles, Oedipus Tyrannus, by Professor Burton; Euripides, Medea, by Professor Messer; Pindar and the Lyric, by Professor C. D. Adams; Scenes from the Life of Socrates, by Professor Joyce; Aristophanes, The Clouds, by Professor C. H. Page; Demosthenes, On the Crown, by Professor C. D. Adams; The Pastoral, by Professor McCallum; and Plutarch, Selections from The Lives, by Professor Emery.
