May 10 occurred the marriage of Ernest Francis Tillson to Gwendolyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry N. Bloomfield of Wellesley Hills, Mass. After a wedding journey to Bermuda, Mr. and Mrs. Tillson are living in Belmont, Mass.
Roger Wells Pope was recently married to Marjorie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Hart of Medford, Mass. His classmate Lindsay was best man, and Swezey and W. C. Moore were ushers.
H. Sheridan Baketel, Jr., of the insurance brokerage firm of B. N. Exton and Company, 64 Wall St., New York, is contributing a series of articles on the various phases of insurance to Medical Economics, a well known New York medical journal.
Elliott W. Cheney has been awarded a university scholarship for research work during the year 1924-5 by the Charles A. Coffin Foundation, under the auspices of the General Electric Company, which chose eight men from, as many colleges for this honor. Cheney taught physics at Syracuse University, and went thence to a similar position at Brown, where he received his Master's degree this year. He has now gone to Princeton, where he will study the electron theory.
