Leroy T. Brown '23, captain of the track team in 1922 and 1923, took a second place in the high jump in the Olympic games this summer by clearing the bar at 6 feet 434 inches. Brown has done better in competitions in this country but at Antwerp was unable to keep pace with his team-mate, Harold Osborne, formerly of the University of Illinois who set a. new Olympic record with his jump of 6 feet 6 inches.
