Class of 1886

Members of '86 in attendance at the Dartmouth Pow Wow held in Chicago were Jenks, Goodwin, E. Frost, and Hatch (W. M.) We were the guests among others of the 'Bo's of Webster 82 and Eldredge '84 at a luncheon served at the University Club. Carr, George, Emerson, and Eldredge represented '84. Towle and Plapp represented '85, and Judkins and Rogers represented '87.

O. L. Manchester, recalled by classmates as holding the college record for high jump when at Hanover, is president of the Illinois State Teachers' Association. Residing at Normal, Ill., he is dean and professor of economics at the State Normal University. He holds the degree of Doctor of Laws. Your Secretary had the pleasure of meeting Manchester at the recent N.E.A. Superintendents' Convention held in Chicago.
