At its annual meeting April 18-19 this year the Board elected Mr. Arthur C. Tozzer. Vice President of the Turner Construction Company, Boston, Mass., as a member to succeed Colonel G. J. Fiebeger, Professor of Military Engineering. U. S. Military Academy, Retired, who had .served on the Board twenty-three years.

Mr. Tozzer has personally directed the construction of enough buildings in reinforced concrete to constitute a fairly large town if they were all assembled in one locality. Among these are the famous Bush Terminals and the huge Army Base in Brooklyn. New York. He has entire management of the business and operations of the Turner Construction Company in the New England district.

Mr. Tozzer graduated from the College in 1902 and from the Thayer School in 190 - Soon after his graduation he had some very strenuous experience in tunneling under air pressure, serving as inspector on the night shift in the construction of the Pennsylvania Railroad tunnels under the East River from New York to Long Island City; and most of his activities since that time have been of a strenuous nature.
