A Manchester (N. H.) paper lias this to say concerning our classmate Hunt: "To the New Hampshire Fire Insurance Company the year 1924 is notable from the fact that it celebrates fifty years of active connection with the company of Judge Nathan P. Hunt, its treasurer. Judge Hunt's association with the New Hampshire Fire dates from the year 1874, as a director, member of the finance committee, and, for the past nineteen years, treasurer. He is also president of the Merchants National Bank."
A local paper of Jamestown, N. Y., the home of Classmate Sellew, had an editorial under the caption "Bishop Sellew Re-elected." The editorial said in part: "The general conference of the Free Methodist church in session at Corunna, Mich., on Saturday re-elected Rev. Walter A. Sellew of this city as the senior bishop of the church. Bishop Sellew is a man of wonderful mental and physical vitality for a man of his age, and very justly stands at the very head of the Free Methodist church in this country. He has devoted all the years of his life to the service of the church, of God, and of humanity. Engaged in the mercantile trade in young manhood he was 'not slothful in business, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Later taking up educational work, and the ministry, he was devoted to the cause in which his heart was enlisted. He gave freely of his substance for the furtherance of church work, and gave the church his family home at Gerry on which the orphanage and old folks' home is established. Serving as circuit pastor for many years, he was elected to the office of bishop a quarter of a century ago, and is today the senior bishop.
