The Senior Barbecue proved the usual riot of mock courts, athletic events, etc.

The junior class has adopted the wearing of light colored blazers, trimmed in green.

Rabbi Stephen Samuel Wise, of the Free Synagogue of New York, won many friends to the cause of constructive liberalism in his talk.

The Department of Far Eastern Civilizations held a Chinese Exhibit, which was composed of more than 1,000 articles, in Culver Hall recently.

J. H. Newton '24 starred as Yank, in "The Hairy Ape," Eugene O'Neill's great play, a few weeks ago.

M. Emile Ripert, French novelist and poet, delivered two lectures in French in Hanover recently, his subjects being, "J. H. Fabre, Entomologist and Provencal Poet", and "Au Pays de LaFayette".

President Paul Dwight Moody, of Middlebury College, was the speaker at the Sunday Vesper Service in Rollins Chapel May 11.

H. L. Haws '24, E. H. Learnard '24, and A. N. Thurston '24 were the Barrett Cup nominees for whom the college voted recently. The results of the ballotting will be made known at the Wet-Down exercises when the award will be presented. Haws has been leader of the Glee Club this year and starred on last fall's football team, Learnard was manager of the 1923 football team and goal tend of the 1923 and 1924 hockey teams, Thurston is captain of the baseball team and one of the highest ranking students in college.
