CHENEY '20 AWARDED COFFIN SCHOLARSHIP

E. W. Cheney '2O, of Orange, Mass., has been awarded a university scholarship for research work during the year 1924-1925 by the Charles A. Coffin Foundation, under the auspices of the General Electric Company, which conducted a nation-wide investigation and p'cked eight men from as many colleges and universities, as a result of their findings.

Cheney, after graduation, taught Physics at Syracuse University, transferring from there to a similar position at Brown University where he will receive an M.A. degree this year. He plans to enter Princeton in the fall, and will study the electron theory.
