The Interfraternity Council started a little internal improvement with the partial adoption of its new constitution which reduces its membership from 50 to 25 and provides for an executive committee of four which will dispose of most of the business which has heretofore been placed before the entire representation. Definite action concerning the scholastic qualifications of initiates and the relation between freshmen and fraternities is expected soon. Pi Lambda Phi the national Jewish fraternity in the College, was finally admitted to the Council with full representation after considerable persistence in petitioning by the young fraternity.
P. Bowdler '29, writing in The College regarding the proposed Alma Mater, pens the following paraphrase of "Come Fellows, let us. ." Come, Fellows, let us drop this song, And ditch it without fear; Let "Men of Dartmouth" reign supreme. The song that has no peer. Dartmouth, Dartmouth, hear the song we sing, Dartmouth Dartmouth, crown the new song king; The critics come from far and near Our Alma Mater song to jeer, This tune is much too dark and drear For Dartmouth Wah-Who-Wali.
