A card from Sherm and Delia Ward from Venice reminds me that they are touring Europe this summer for two months. They were using the gondola instead of their car in Venice. George and Helen Watts are also over there, I presume, for their annual summer trip.

Chuck Stone and Ruth have been playing a good deal of golf at the Mojalaki Country Club at Franklin, N. H., where the Secretary also belongs. He and Line Morton found them on the links in June, and he and Emmett Pishon found them still there in July.

Theo Jewett reports poor fishing at Wionisquam, and Marian says that the fish are waiting for other 1913 men to come to Laconia. Nat Rice stopped there this summer, Carl Shumway tried to call recently, and I dropped in at the Gale St. home one evening, when I went over from Ragged Mountain looking for a crank case—but that is another story. Also spent the night in Laconia later on in the summer.

Emmett Pishon was called suddenly to San Francisco late in July on account of the serious illness of his father. Mr. Pishon died on August 8, a few days after Emmett arrived.

Yick and friend wife Nutt toured through the mountains of New England last spring, and spent several enjoyable days in Manchester, N. H., with Jack and Louise Nelson.

Helen Ehrenfried Fishel, wife of Louis Fishel, died on August 30, 1925, in Brookline, Mass. A daughter was born to them on August 21.

Clayton Fairbanks spent a few days in Boston in September after his return from a hurried business trip to Florida. Lena and their daughter were at Brant Rock, Mass., for August and September. "Fairy" has given up the bond business, and will open up on his return to Cleveland a branch office for the George W. Harvey Realty Company for Florida real estate. He is certainly enthusiastic about the proposition. After lunching with Joe Cheney and with Clayt I feel quite "well read" in Florida land deals.

Don Cunningham was in Boston for a few days in September to take Mrs. Cunningham and Junior back to Denver from a summer on Cape Cod.

Dave B. Morey is head coach of football at Alabama Polytechnic Institute at Auburn, Ala. He is also director of the department of athletics. Last February he found it necessary, on account of the ill health of his wife, to tender his resignation as football and baseball coach at Middlebury College. He had been at Middlebury since 1920, where he has established an enviable record for both himself and the college. Dave enjoys his present station and work very much.

Ken Winship is leaving Mexico. He has been transferred to Venezuela, and now has the imposing address, Care of Venezuelan Gulf Oil Company, Apartado 234, Maracaibo, Venezuela. He leaves for South America in about a month.

Parker Trowbridge writes to enclose the blank giving his information for the "Archives," and announces, "though a year late," the arrival of Nancy Dyke Trowbridge on June 25, 1924. Parker is manager of Paine, Webber, and Company in Worcester. He is also member of the Common Council of the city.

Albert S. Kilbourn did not accept his call to Gilbert, lowa, but took a nine months' leave of absence from Eddyville lowa, and is now at Talladega College in Alabama as professor of the social sciences. He and Jessie announce the arrival of Jessie Alberta Kilbourn, born on May 13, 1924.
