Congratulations to Ralph and FlorenceSamuel who celebrated on February 4, 1964 their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Donald C., Ralph O., and Howard D. Samuel were special edition editor, cover story editor and departments editor, respectively of a Fifty Golden Years Edition of Time, The Weekly (once every 50 years) News Magazine. It is a wonderful account of Ralph and Florence's happy years, filled with pictures of all the family, homes and ads. This is only our second 50th anniversary to be celebrated by classmates. Jack and LouiseNelson's was the first, last October.

We think all can look for Matt and Dorothy Gately in October 1964 as they plan on getting "North" at that time, leaving Buenos Aires, Argentina, we hope to be at the Inn October 11-13, at least.

Twenty-five men and fifteen wives say they will attend our 51st Reunion in Hanover in June, the 15-18 th. More information and names will be in the next News Letter. We would arrive the Monday following Commencement. Last year we were part of Commencement. This June there would be vastly fewer arrangements and necessary attendance with more time for "yak yak" and seeing Hanover and surrounding area.

The Rand, Ball and King Company of Claremont, and that is Howard Ball, suffered a loss by fire at the office and warehouse building, damage amounting to about $3,000. Howard says he lost no valuable papers but his office is a shamble. 1913 in Hanover now in Florida: The BobConants left February 14 for Ellinor Village; Harry French was already down there with his sister, and Fred Page left after Town Meeting in March. Harry French missed therefore the Chamber of Commerce banquet in February held to honor a group of Hanover's "Senior Citizens" who have made distinguished contributions to the community. Harry was one of those cited and others were President Hopkins, Ellen Adams (sister of Dave Adams and daughter of Charles Darwin Adams, and a long-time member of the staff at the College Library), Francis Childs '06, Halsey Edgerton '06, The Rev. Leslie Hodder, and Tuss McLaughry, thirteen in all.

Bill Towler spent some time at the Roosevelt Hospital in New York for a lung operation but there was no malignancy and he and Lois were at Palm Beach, Fla., towards the end of February and early in March at the Breakers.
