REVEREND JOHN DALLAS RESIGNS HANOVER PASTORATE

The Reverend John T. Dallas, who has for the past five years been rector of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Hanover, preached his last sermon in that church Sept. 27, before leaving for Boston to assume his new duties as First Vicar of St. Paul's.

Dr. Dallas' removal from the local parish has left a gap in the ranks of the community's spiritual leaders which it will not be easy to fill. As yet his successor has not been appointed.
