Class of 1876

A sacred concert in memory of Edwin A. Jones and wife was given February 22 in the town hall of Stoughton, Mass., by the Musical Society of Stoughton—the oldest musical organization in the United States. Several Boston performers assisted. More than eighty persons took part, including orchestra, soloists, and chorus. Six compositions of Jones were included in the program. It was a remarkable tribute to a former leader of the society, fourteen years after his death.
