Word came recently from Bartlett, N. H., reporting the death of Mrs. Granville K. Howard on March 8—thirty-eight years after marriage. Mrs. Howard always enjoyed the class reunions, and was looking forward to that of 1926.
James W. Newton left for Florida on the seventh of February for rest and recreation, spending the ensuing month or thereabouts in St. Petersburg and Miami, and at Havana. His chief enjoyment was in golf, although spending some time in motoring. An active Rotarian when at home, he found natural pleasure in attending the weekly luncheons at various places visited.
Arthur H. Chase is closing his affairs at Concord, N. H., to locate in Boston at The Sheraton, 91 Bay State Road. He can be reached at such address. In a recent letter he stated that he will keep his votirig residence in Canaan, N. H., where the old homestead is situated. Since his severe illness and surgical operation he has been living at Newtonville with his daughter, Mrs. Henry W. Merrill.
