HOLY WEEK OBSERVED
May 1925

A series of four late afternoon services during Holy Week proved popular this spring. At each the Rev. Dr. John T. Dallas, rector of St. Thomas Church, gave a brief address and conducted the devotional exercises which were followed by pleasing musical programs.

At the Tuesday service, held on the day the boys returned from vacation, Prof. H. P. Whitford was heard in an organ recital. A vocal solo by Mrs. H. T. Moore was particularly delightful. At the second service, Professor Whitford's concert was preceded by a cello and organ duet by Professor Whitford and H. B. Crawford '25.

Those who attended the "Holy Thursday" service enjoyed a baritone solo by Donald Bartlett '24 and another charming half hour of organ music by Professor Whitford. On Good Friday, Professor Whitford was assisted by Miss Leslie Taylor, violinist.

The services were an innovation this year, held at the suggestion of President Hopkins.
