Since writing last month, the "Wake of the News" of the Chicago Tribune published another paragraph under the heading of "Athletes who have made good," on E. K. Hall.

The March 16 meeting was given over to the celebration of St. Patrick's Day with appropriate smokes and stories told by the crowd.

On our March 23 meeting, Emilius C. Dudley '73 gave us a very interesting talk on his experiences in China. He was so well received that we expect shortly to have him speak again. At this meeting also we were fortunate in having John Barrett '89, who Was'formerly head of the Pan-American Union and is now acting as an international arbitrator. Following Dr. Dudley, he gave us a brief picture of the future development of the American continent.

Fifteen undergraduates who were home for their vacation appeared at the meeting on March 30 and gave us some idea of the present goings on at Hanover.

The executive committee has already taken up the question of the handling of the football tickets and entertainment of the visiting alumni at the time of the Chicago-Dartmouth game next fall, so there is every indication that the big crowd that is expected will be taken care of and royally entertained.

The Chicago crowd was honored in April by a visit from Lewis Parkhurst '78 of Boston. Mr Parkhurst, who is one of the trustees of the College, gave us a very interesting talk on the subject not supposed to be interesting, that is, finances.

At the meeting on the 13th, Dr. Emilius C. Dudley '73 entertained us with excerpts from a manuscript he has written on the happenings at the College during his generation. This was so well received that the suggestion was later made that different alumni do likewise as regards different periods of the College history.

On April 24, the Cornell Alumni Association entertained the Dartmouth Association at an informal gathering which did much to cement the already cordial relations existing between the two associations.

During the month a number of former members of the Association returned to town, ineluding Howard Fogg '10, who came here from New York a couple of years ago and after going back to New York decided that Chicago was his real love; also Harold S. Card 'll, who came back to take charge of the Welding Engineer, the magazine of which he was formerly editor; and Bobby Bartlett '22, grandson of the former president of Dartmouth.

Other happenings during the month were the removal of the president, Jack Childs '09, from Evanston to Highland Park, and also the arrival of an addition to the family of the Secretary in the person of one Ingersoll Day Bruner, born May 1. Following his move, Jack Childs entertained the members of the Association at an open house.
