DARTMOUTH TEACHERS MEET IN MANCHESTER
DECEMBER 1926

On the occasion of the annual meeting of the New Hampshire State Teachers' Association in Manchester on October 21 the annual round up of Dartmouth alumni engaged in educational work in New Hampshire was held at the Hotel Carpenter at noon with a total attendance of thirty-four.

Arrangements for the luncheon were made by a committee consisting of John Gault '95 and Edgar D. Cass '97, of the Manchester public schools.

After a pleasing luncheon had been disposed of Professor Arthur D. Wright of the Department of Education, acting as toastmaster, called on the following for brief talks,—Professor James G. Stevens of the. Department of Education, President James L. McConaughey of Wesley an University, formerly Professor of Education at Dartmouth, Ruel E. Tucker '24, Sub-Master of the Concord High School, John Gault '95, Headmaster of the West Side High School of Manchester, Walter S. Nesmith 'O7, Headmaster of the Nashua High School, Louis J. Rundlett 'Bl, Superintendent of Schools of Concord, Ernest W. Butterfield '97, State Commissioner of Education of New Hampshire, and Harold C. Bales 'O9, Superintendent of Schools of Milford and Amherst.
