PROFESSOR BARTLETT PREPARES GUIDE TO HANOVER
DECEMBER 1926

Under the title "In Hanover, What, Where and When" Professor E. J. Bartlett has produced a guide to Hanover and Dartmouth College that has been long needed. It is published by the Dartmouth Bookstore and contains 31 pages with index. The title page explains that the book is "a reply to some of the queries of the intelligent visitor who likes to know where he has been, and first aid to the resident in answering questions." The first page informs the reader that "The Town of Hanover in the County of Grafton in the State of New Hampshire would be called the seat of Dartmouth College if that College were a sedentary rather than a progressive instiution."

Readers of the MAGAZINE will recognize Professor Bartlett's witty and trenchant style throughout the book and many will doubtless wish to obtain a copy for their own edification and instruction. It may be procured from the Dartmouth Bookstore in Hanover at a cost of twenty-five cents.
