Dartmouth 48, M. I. T. 14
Dartmouth skimmers maintained their unbroken string of victories by defeating the swimming team of Massachusetts Institute of Technology 48 to 14 in Spaulding Pool, February 20.
Bryant '29, of Dartmouth, set a new pool record when he won the 50 yard dash in 24 6-10 seconds, Isham, of Dartmouth, established a new college record, for the 200 yard breaststroke event which he won in 2 minutes 51 seconds, and the Dartmouth swimmers in the relay race established a time of 1 minute 9-10 seconds which stands as both a pool and a college record. McCaw, of Dartmouth, who won the 150 yard backstroke race, was clocked at the 50 yard and 100 yard turns in times better than the intercollegiate records for those distances.

The Dartmouth swimmers, travelling to West Point, also defeated the West Point swimming team 47 to 15 in a meet in the Army Pool February 22. Dartmouth 49, Brown 13
Taking first place in each of the seven events the Green Swimming team won from Brown in the Spaulding Pool, at Hanover, February 27, this victory being the Dartmouth team's fourth win in eight days.
Dartmouth's freshman stars, Bryant, McCaw, and Michael each won their events, Bryant taking both the 50 and 100 yard races, McCaw winning the backstroke, and Michaels the diving contest.
Brooklyn 43, Dartmouth 19
The outstanding performances of Spence, Lewis, and Hosie, of the Brooklyn Central Y.M.C.A. swimming team accounted for the defeat of Dartmouth's natators by a score of 43 to 19 in Spauiding Pool March 6. Michael was the only Dartmouth entry able to capture a first place.
Walter Spence, National A.A.U. champion in the breast-stroke lowered the Spauiding Pool mark for this event to 2 minutes 36 seconds. Darthmouth Wins Intercollegiate
Repeating its performance of last year the College swimming team easily won the New England Intercollegiate Swimming Meet at Wesleyan March 13. The Dartmouth swimmers gathered a total of 37 points, the apparent score of 45 points having been disallowed because of the disqualification of McCaw and Simpson in the 150 yard backstroke event. Brown finished second to Dartmouth with 16 points, Williams had 14, Wesleyan 5, Amherst 3 and M.I.T. 1.
Four records were broken during the meet, Russell, of Dartmouth, and Parker, of Williams, breaking the New England record for the 440 yard event in the preliminary contests. Russell repeated his feat on the following day and set the time for the long swim at 5 minutes 42 7-10 seconds. The 200 yard breaststroke mark was shattered by Schott, of Williams, who reduced it to 2 minutes 38 2-10 seconds. Coles, of Brown, swimming in the qualifying rounds, set a new mark for the 40 yard dash. His time was 19 1-10 seconds, but in the finals he was defeated by Bryant, of Dartmouth, who swam the distance in 19 2-10 seconds.
