A son, George W. Elderkin, Jr., was born to Mr. and Mrs. Elderkin on March 17. The Secretary sauntered down to Philadelphia to survey the youngster, and can report that he has none of the deficiencies of the old man. His arrival on St. Patrick's Day presages a lively interest in the Green.
