Dean Academy pinned another defeat on the Dartmouth freshman team which had lost its first start of the season to Andover The game was played on Memorial Field May 8. Three runs, scored by the visitors in the fourth inning, before Liberty, the freshman pitcher found himself, established Dean in the lead. The freshmen scored in the fifth inning when a three base hit by Michael, scored Moran, freshman captain, who had singled ahead of him. Another run was added in the last inning, but the Academy team had drawn too far ahead to be overtaken.
