Rev. William P. Hardy left California on April 12 for an extended visit to New England. He will spend most of the time near Nelson, N. H., and expects to remain in the East until next October.

Charles L. Carpenter entertained Cate 'BB and his wife on the occasion of their visit to Porto Rico early in the spring.

A recent report from the trustees of the Congregational Latin-American Institute at West Tampa, Fla., shows a large increase in the mission day school conducted by Rev. Carl H. Corwin.

Fred W. Wentworth has just been elected a fellow of the Society of American Architects as a recognition of his distinguished services in the realm of architecture. As there are only 250 fellows out of 5000 members, the honor is readily perceived. Mr. Wentworth has built a large number of the finest buildings in New Jersey, especially in Paterson, where he lives, and is generally considered one of the leading architects of the country.
