IRVING J. FRENCH '01 MAKES BEQUEST TO COLLEGE

Irving J. French of the class of 1901, who died last April, has provided by his will that approximately one-half of his estate shall, after the termination of two life interests in the income, be paid to Dartmouth College. The principal of the gift is to be retained as an endowment fund but the use of the income is not restricted. This legacy is but another expression of the devotion and love for his College which were outstanding features of his life since he entered college as a freshman.
