On August 7, the Reverend P. Gordon Favour, D. D., rector of Trinity church, New Rochelle, N. Y., preached at Westminster Abbey.
The feature of the recent annual horse show at Manchester, N. H., conducted under the ausauspices of Derryfield Park Riding School, was the honors won by Elizabeth Norton, seven years old, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel C. Norton of 1051 Union St. The accomplished little horsewoman displayed versatility by riding a great rangy animal named Princess, which she piloted through the championship cup event, and also riding Honey to the winning of the blue ribbon, first prize in the .class II event. So excellent was Miss Norton's riding that the judges, Mr. and Mrs. Percey Burroughs and Mrs. Alexander G. Macomber, unhesitatingly bestowed upon her a blue ribbon for her work in handling Princess and a silver cup for the special event in which she came to the front against all winners in the juvenile classes.
Robert B. Moseley, who represents the Osborne Company, Limited, of 242 Liverpool Road, London, N. E., is planning to be in Massachusetts during the month of November. He will spend Thanksgiving with his sister in Boston.
