The newspaper fame of Temple drew a good many of us to Hanover in expectation of seeing a close game. Among those we noticed were the Hinmans, the Heinie Hydes, the George Aliens, Liz Prescott, Slip Powers, George Thurber. Hap said that he had seen all of the games this fall, and didn't intend to miss any of them.

The night before the Harvard game we had our usual round-up and dinner before the mass meeting. This year we met at the University Club for a change, and shared the same room with 1914. A piano with Les Wiggin added much to the evening's enjoyment, particularly when Bunny Armstrong put on one of his classic dances! A consensus of opinion seems to be that one of the large movie companies, probably Mack Sennett, is missing a bet. Later we adjourned to the City Club for the smoker.

Our three representatives on the Alumni Council, Ek Hiestand, Hank Haserot, and Warren Carter, were all present. It is surprising how much business there is around Boston the middle of October. In addition, the following were present:

Jim Everett, Charley Fay, Lew Wallace, Ray Gorton, Else Jenness, Fielder Jones, Bones Jones, Dick Vincens, Fletch Burton, George Thurber, Beezel Parker, Nate Sherman, Roger Pierce, Clif Lyon, Ted Hill, Percy Nourse, Dave Childs, Jim Colgan, Abie Coleman, Slip Powers, Monte Fall, Ote Crafts, Ed Shattuck, Les Wiggin, Heinie Hyde, John Dingle, Hap Hinman, Liz Prescott, Shing Sherwin, Bunny Armstrong, I. O. Scott, Art Allen, Joe Downey, George Underwood, George Sinclair, Earle Pierce, Rusty Williams, and Irv Jewett.

The next day several were present at the game who hadn't been able to make the dinner on Friday night. Hal S prague didn't make the dinner, but was present on Saturday afternoon. We were therefore much surprised on Monday to receive a notice of Hal's marriage on Saturday evening to Olive Marion Flemming. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride, only members of the immediate families being present. They will be at home after November 20 at 10 Ellsworth St., Brockton.

Harold Jackson's business took him across the continent the wrong way just before the Harvard game. He left for California October 10.

Eastey couldn't get on to the Harvard game, but sent word that he expected to be at the Yale game. Later I heard that while hunting in the Dakotas he had shot off a finger and part of his thumb. I hope to have more details before next month.

Frank Brady has moved to Boston, and is now located at 34 Riverview 'Ave., Longmeadow, Mass.

Atkins Nickerson is now located at 929 Van Nuys Building, Los Angeles, Cal.

Ray Seymour wasn't able to be with us for the Harvard game, since he was taking a belated vacation in Bermuda at that time.

Ernest Small has completed his course in Newport, and is now located in the Office of Naval Operations in Washington, D. C.

Roger Pierce is with Dewick and Flanders at 40 Broad St., Boston, another convert to the insurance game.

Johnny Hobbs is another who missed the dinner Friday night because of another engagement. He was serving as a delegate at the Belmont Country Club for the annual meeting of the Massachusetts Golf Association.

C. H. Kent has just become a member of the firm of E. K. Mansfield Company, SOI Fifth Ave. New York city. This organization acts as sales engineers and dealers in paper mill supplies. Although Kent's new connection is in New York city, he will continue to reside in Cheshire.

Secretary, 40 Florence Ave., Norwood, Mass.
