NEARLY HALF OF STUDENTS EARN AT DARTMOUTH

Recent investigations have revealed that there is no decline in the percentage of Dartmouth students earning all or a part of their way through college. Approximately 45% of the student enrollment of 2253 men work dur ing the college year from September to June, and approximately 75% of the men report that they are at work during the summer months between June and September. The total earnings of these students is estimated to value in

cash, board, and room rent approximately $200,000. The number of students entirely supporting themselves while in College is given as approximately 200.
