Announcement is made in "L'Astronomie," the bulletin of the Astronomical Society of France, that a planet has just been named "Tuckia" in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tuck, benefactors of French scientific projects and of numerous institutions both in France and the United States.
The planet was first observed by Professor Max Wolf in 1920. It was then numbered 927 and was known up until its change of name as "1920 GO."
