An interesting contribution to the life of the College this semester has been the series of ten lectures sponsored by the Department of Biography in connection with a course called Representative American Careers. After each of the public addresses the men taking this course meet the speaker in a regular class session for discussion of the career taken up.
John F. Moors, senior member of a firm of brokers in Boston, gave the first address on finance. Ralph Adams Cram, architect noted for his Gothic creations and author of several books, spoke on the subject, "The Ideals, Opportunities, and Difficulties in the Artist's Career." Frank B. Jewett, consulting engineer to the American Telephone and Telegraph Company and Western Electric Company, gave the third address of the course on engineering.
