HEPTAGONALS IN HANOVER

The 28th Annual Heptagonal Track Championships will be held in Hanover on May 12. This will mark the first time that the ten-team championship meet has been held on Memorial Field.

Some 300 athletes from the eight Ivy League colleges, plus Army and Navy, are expected to compete. The meet is expected to start shortly after noon, with the final event scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Last year at Philadelphia, Dartmouth was third in the outdoor Heptagonals with 31 points. The Indians are expected again to field a better- than-average running team, with Jerry Ashworth in the 100 and 220, Tom Holzel in the 440, Nick Jennison in the mile, and Tom Laris in the two- mile. All four men placed well in last year's meet.

All seats for the 1962 Heptagonals will be unreserved, with tickets available at the gate.
