The Denver Post of December 4 has a long article written by a number of graduates of the University of Colorado, in which is praise of the work of Myron Witham as coach of the football team of that University. The gist of the article is as follows: Myron Witham is one of the greatest strategists of the game. His general knowledge of football is on a par with that of any coach in the country. The men who know—the men who have played under him—will all be only too glad to testify to this statement. Witham is not only a leader respected by 'his men, but he is one of the few coaches in the country who is sincerely loved. He is too much of a gentleman for most football followers to understand and appreciate. He has eliminated all cheap publicity, sensationalism, and rough language from his coaching. Witham has been coaching at the University of Colorado for many years, and has the very high esteem of all connected with that university.
