This May 13 and 14 marks the second annual meeting of your class's Executive Committee. Many important and worthwhile things are accomplished at these meetings. Last year, at the first annual meeting, it was not found necessary to actually meet, but the results of that weekend are still being discussed at Crosby Hall. One of the more controversial recommendations was a proposal to remodel the President's house into a beer garden. The basic holdup seems to be whether to have the same hours as the fraternities or the dorms.

Items to be discussed at this year's meeting include: 1) the location of the annual Class Reunion, whether it is to be Da Nang or Thule; 2) the possibility of getting Drew Pearson to write the Class Notes; 3) entertainment for the stag reunion to be held in Montreal; and 4) recent criticism that the Class of 1964 lost money in last year's Alumni Fund. A full report on the meeting will appear in the December issue of this MAGAZINE.

With this edition of the class notes, a new experiment in reporting is being introduced. In order to participate you need a bundle of recent mail from your friends in the class and a sharp pencil. This column will provide the format and you supply the names. This system will enable the column to meet the needs of all its readers. In fact you don't even have to be in the Class of '64 or a Dartmouth man to produce your own personal column.
