Class of 1878

A. O. Brown recently called upon Rev. C. H. Pettibone at Vera, Fla, and reports much Dleasure, not only in the call, but in the high regard in which our old friend "Bones" is held in the community.

The Macmillan Company issues a new book by Dr. George H. Gilbert under the title "Greek Thought in the New Testament." which, like previous books of the author, aims to disentangle Christianity from speculations and dogmas imported into it from sources as foreign to it as were the formalism and Pharisaism which Jesus condemned and contended against.

Lewis Parkhurst reports a call upon W. S. Montgomery in Washington, who had not been well through the winter, but seemed to have recovered and to be in good health at present.
